There are a few ways we may collect personal information from you:
If you are part of the study and want to log in. Here we collect your email address, first name and last name so you can set up a password and your private profile page.
If you contact us through our website. Here we collect your email address so that we can respond to you; and,
If you only navigate the site, no personal information will be collected.
Personal information may de stored in data centres located in the United States of America, Ireland, South Korea, Taiwan and Israel. Any study related data sent outside of the Canadian borders may increase the risk of disclosure of information because the laws in these countries, dealing with protection of information may not be as strict as in Canada. However, all study related data, that might be transferred outside of Canada will be coded (this means it will not contain your name or personal identifying information) before leaving the study site.
